Profile: Jesse Steele was born and raised in west-central Michigan. After graduating from Reed City High School he attended the Moody Bible Institute where he spent much of his free time learning about life from his friends in the inner city.

He favors informative and provocative authors like C S Lewis, Robert Kiyosaki, and Malcolm Gladwell. He enjoys golf, fishing, swimming, aggressive skating, free running, Kung Fu, reading, writing, music, art, language, Bible study, traveling, and occasionally attending conferences.

In America he often drops-in unexpectedly at the homes of friends for coffee and a few hours of banter about trends in music composition, business, politics, to pontificate about the latest ministry “strategery” of Bill Hybels, or digest recent sermons from Mike Bickle. In Asia he dabbles in Chinese calligraphy, spends quality time with friends, studies Wing Chun, visits locals, frequents the traditional market, and rides his bicycle to buy organic fair trade coffee from a local merchant. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and blogs his random thoughts at JesseSteele.com.
